We leapt into October with brand new colours as we welcomed a new artist in residence: Rebecca Strickson. Her work is inspired by the
traditional imagery of trade union banners, protest placards, and Arts &
Crafts design in overblown, eye-popping 70’s supermarket packaging colours. Please do come and see Strickson's collection - all works are for sale!
Earlier in the month, our team were invited to the BFI London Film Festival screening for Rose Plays Julie. ''Writer-directors Christine Molloy and Joe Lawlor have returned to the London film festival with their best work yet'' writes Peter Bradshaw in The Guardian, and we couldn't agree more! We are very proud to have worked on this project with the team at Desperate Optimists Productions. Keep your eyes peeled for more screenings for this ominously contemplative film!
This month we had some fantastic projects going through the door, such as Charlotte Church: My Family and Me for Channel 4, Disasters Engineered for Science Channel USA, Cadbury Heroes for YouTube, School of Life for YouTube premium, imagine...EastSide Story for BBC One, Plebs (Series 5) for ITV2 and The World According to Vladimir Putin for Channel 4.
Employee Of The Month October goes to Connor! His flexibility and willingness to support the grading team have not gone unnoticed and we're truly grateful! Congratulations and thank you, Connor!
