We are looking for someone to join our small but dynamic team of Media Coordinators. The position involves being integral to the day to day running of an exciting, fast-paced post production facility.

You’ll be the stand a long Senior in the Media Hub team, liaising and delegating tasks to the juniors in the team, whilst also working alongside a variety of experienced talent in all areas of Post.

What you will be doing...

● Ensuring all media kept in the department is relevant at any given time with a purpose to be stored within the facility. Maintaining a constant dialogue with producers to ensure any legacy media can be returned, dealing directly with clients where necessary.

● Taking leadership and control of any library /dispatch related projects from your Line Manager.

● Ensuring any transient media within the facility is secured, tracked and logged correctly.

● Daily checks with junior members of the team and neighbouring departments, enveloping responsibility to ensure procedures surrounding media movements are upkept.

● Ensuring junior members of staff are trained in day-to-day roles and tasks specific to the role. Tracking their progress with updates to the Line Manager where necessary.

● Ensuring daily tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively by junior members of the team.

● Maintaining a constant continued effort to ensure the smooth running of the department taking every effort to ensure yourself and the team are carrying out their job to the best of their abilities.

● Taking charge of in-depth all media investigations, with the ability to present your findings to your line manager.

● Ensuring proper delegation of day to day tasks to juniors within the department.

● Maintain and manage the departments’ physical area at PW. Incorporating the storing of client media, stock for CTA, Engineers and tools section. Additionally managing the expectations of surrounding departments’ requirement to utilise this non-client facing area for short term or temporary storage.

● Being a point of contact for producers for new-starts IE, organising client shares or rise & fall desks with Engineering.

● Maintaining a constant progression of positive change for the department. Pushing forward suggestions for updating or incorporating policies, procedures or any improvements with your Line Manager if and when needed.

● Attending monthly meetings with your Line Manager, bringing forward any relevant points which require managerial intervention.

● Being the point of contact for all juniors when setting up suites during morning setup.

● Having an understanding of Splices remote working solution with regards to connectivity and functionality.

● Overseeing junior members of the teams’ equipment handling for remote working equipment as well as being able to prep remote kits yourself.

Who you are...

● You have experience at a post production facility and in a similar role or a role with skills that are transferable

● You will have a full basic understanding of how local edit suites are wired, with a very basic technical knowledge of edit suite equipment.
