My alarm goes off…
At 5:45am and it’s a quick turn around. I live far far away in a land called Beckenham, so it's quite the adventure to get to Central London every morning. Wellies on, it's a run through the forest by moonlight, dodging dog attacks. Let me know if there's another way to start the day right.

I’m responsible for…
I set up the Avid suites at Picture House, in Old Street, and I'm first port of call if anyone needs any assistance in the morning. I oversee all the media exchanges within the building and help support our busy CTA team. My role can be very client-facing, but you can trust that I've changed out of my wellies before I run to help anyone out.

I got my job…
I've been a videographer for 10 years and I realised it's the editing part of the job that I enjoy the most. So, about a year ago, I moved to London to pursue a career as an offline editor.
I started  phoning up   post-production houses in London then chose Splice as the best fit for me.

My typical day…
Endlessly climbing stairs... It's a 7:30 start to set up 65 computers, check all equipment and Avids are running smoothly then I flit about the building to assist clients until my day is done.

My most memorable work moment…
I started as a runner over at our Shoreditch facility. I was taking 2 lattes to a client upstairs and thought it best to catch the lift, but the wave of the lift's arrival knocked me off my balance. My tray propelled through the air, but I caught the scalding coffees... with my face. Perfect timing for the director of the company to give our new facilities director a tour of the  building.

The worst part of my job…
Remembering all the passwords to set up the edit suites. It requires mounting numerous network shares for all of our clients. I’ve been dreaming about client share passwords for 6 months.

The best part of my job…
Is my supportive team and the essential knowledge they're teaching me to help pursue my career in post-production. Huge shout-out to the girls in PH CTA too for being so insightful and reminding me to take my wellies with me for my shift the next morning.

After work…
I mainly just wait for summer whilst developing my editing skills. Adjusting to London life from Cornwall has been a steep climb but I'm finally seeing what all the fuss is all about.

My Plan B....
I want to move back to Italy, eat pasta for breakfast and mosaic my way back to sleepier days.
