My alarm goes off…

...at 6.10am.  I’m Splice’s early bird, so no sleeping in for me!  I don’t actually mind starting my day early, I can’t even sleep in at the weekends now because then I’ll feel like I’ve wasted my time.

I’m responsible for…

My incredible team - the runners & the hospitality team.  We all look after Splice's clients, making sure they are happy, comfortable and getting the best service.  In addition, I’m responsible for looking after the building and making sure everything looks amazing.

I got my job…

I simply sent in my CV.  It was a proud moment when I got my job as I had only lived in London for about two weeks!

My typical day…

The day usually starts with prep, we need to make sure the building is looking great for when everyone comes in and then, we will be waiting for the coffee and breakfast orders to come in. On Thursday's we start making our infamous Friday treats - this week it's blueberry traybake.

My most memorable work moment…

Birthdays at Splice are always memorable. Last year the team surprised me with flowers and balloons.  All Splicers get a hand-made card for their birthday, which is such a nice touch.  For my card, they had a photo of bodybuilders and they had me and my team’s faces on it - it was hilarious.

The best part of my job…

Working at Splice has allowed me to study part-time on the side and now after three years of evening courses I have earned a BA (Hons) in Business & Management.  I'm really proud of that!

The worst part of my job…

There are days when I feel I need the routine in my life & then there are other days when I find the routine gets a little difficult and I'd like to be on the beach, but hey, wouldn't we all?

After work…

I have another routine: the gym. It all began with the good life at Splice being surrounded by lots of bread & biscuits - I gained a couple of pounds and after a while, I knew I had to get rid of it, so I started going to the gym and now I go almost every day.

My Plan B…

I love the gym and I love animals, so maybe I should open an animal gym for all the fat cats & dogs (laughs!)
