October was a big month for us here at Splice, not only did we launch our new website but we revealed our new branding too.  This new look comes at a significant time for the company with the opening of our Cardiff branch earlier this year and a new development in London coming soon.

So, what else have we been up to this month?

Apart from making lots of great television - like 'Dispatches - Cannabis: Time to End the Ban?'  for Channel 4, 'The Bank That Almost Broke Britain' for BBC Four,  a new series of 'Claimed and Shamed' for BBC One,  'Beats, Bass and Bars: The Story of Grime' for BBC Four and brand new sitcom 'The Reluctant Landlord' created by Romesh Ranganathan for Sky One, to name a few.

We were lucky enough to work with SBTV for O2's Go Think Big scheme, where we hosted a three-day workshop for young people aged 18-25 looking for their first taste of post-production.  It was great to open our doors to such a lovely group of passionate individuals and expose them to the inner workings of a post house.

Our Head of Picture, Adam Dolniak was announced as a nominee for the 2018 RTS Craft and Design Awards for his grade on the Channel 4 documentary 'The UN Sex Abuse Scandal'  produced by Ronachan Films.  So, a big congratulations to Adam!

Halloween saw us get slimed by the Hospitality Team as they went for a Ghostbusters theme - check out our Instagram to see all the highlights.

And finally, a huge shout to our Employee of The Month - Senior Edit Assistant, Max, who is an integral part of our CTA team. During one of the busiest periods this year, Max has tackled the gnarliest of conforms and handled huge weekend workloads.  Well done Max!
